Ah yes, a new swap ...

Why dontcha check it out & hey, do something wild & crazy, like ... joining!!
Well, Wednesday was a beautiful day ... lovely weather, around 70F, then the night came & it began to cool off and then the rain started, which eventually turned to sleet ... then during the night the snow came ... we got off easy at our end of town, we 'might have' recieved a foot, but the north end of town got 3-5 feet!!! But since today was so nice, around 61F, a lot of it is gone ... and they are calling for another beautiful day tomorrow!!
Voila!
DD wanted a felted ball cap, so I whipped one up, what a super fast knit!! Sorry the pic is so bad, but I shall post another pic once it's felted & dry!!
It's here, it's here, it's here!!!
My partner Jena mailed my bag YESTERDAY and it's here!! The box was against the door when I got home from picking the kids up!! I got a great bag that she crocheted and felted and it's nice & big and will hold all kinds of great things when I have to take the boys to their sister hockey practices & games. I also received some teas (I am a big tea drinker) and some great yarn that my dd was already eyeing ...... THANK YOU JENA!!!!!!!!!
I have GOT TO show you what the postie left on my doorstep ... actually two things arrived on separate days. I don't have time to take a pic right now, but I will soon!! I met a wonderful lady thru ebay who I got some WONDERFUL yarn from, and she added several pattern books too, and some yarn for my daughter!! What a sweetie!! I gotta run for now or nobody in this house will be eating dinner ..... back soon!
A new pattern out from
Stitch Diva ! Aren't these kewl?!?! Not your average felted clogs, these are certainly kicked up a bit ... I think I can see a pair in my not so distant future!!
My kitty likes to sleep a wee bit strangely ... these are a couple, but this cat is know to just drop & roll onto his back & lie there looking around ... he's one wierd little kitty!!
Well, I packaged up the bag & some other goodies and now it's ready to go out in Tuesday's post ... I liked the lining so much that I 'almost' sent a different bag ... but I decided that it would be wrong, so it will go & meet it's new family next week.
Well, it is, but it isn't. This is the general 'jist' of the KAL:

Represent your favorite team. Knit for the charity of your choice. Use the patterns and yarn you want. No one is going to tell you what you can or can’t do. No deadlines except the official end date will be the last day of the regular season. As you get items knitted up, you can distribute them as you wish. Give them to your local battered women’s shelter, homeless shelter, animal shelter, or send stuff to CIC or the Dulaan Project, or….whatever.
Kewl, or what?!?! I'm always knitting while watching it on tv, or at my dd's practices, so why not be in a group with others doing the same ....... you should go & check it out!!
