Thrift store purchase

Well, I had taken dgd off to off-ice and she was following that with on-ice, so I thought I'd drop into a thrift store I hadn't been to before & go thru the racks to see if there was anything good that I could take apart for some new stash ... well, I found a men's large MEXX sweater! A very nice light beige-ish colour (so if I want do dye it, I can) in a lovely linen/cotton blend! Well, I took it apart during the game last night and to my very fortunate surprise, the seams were crocheted together, which made my dismantling of the garment a LOT easier. Have one 'skein' washed & drying and several more to go ... I think some of this might go into a lovely 'French Girl Knits' sweater pour moi ...
