It was beautiful ...
On Saturday! Saturday was in the 80's, sunny, bright, warm ... wonderful ... then Sunday hit!
I waited until the snow stopped falling & blowing before I took any pictures, and by then the sun had broken thru and some of it had melted ... but you get the idea ...

SWEETNESS SOCKS
toe-up, short-row heel
2 circs
4 balls - Queensland Collection, Kathmandu Ultra ( 85% Wool, 10% Silk, 5% Cashmere, Bulky, 50g, 55m, shade #716)
5.5mm addi turbo circs
To fit average foot (will fit from a ladies 8 to a mens 10)
Using turkish cast-on (http://fluffyknitterdeb.blogspot.com/2005/10/knitting-made-easier-turkish-cast-on.html), cast on 16 stitches total (8 on each needle).
Knit all stitches
Knit 1, kfb, knit until 2 stitches remain on needle, kfb, knit 1, repeat on next needle
Repeat these two rows until there are 40 stitches total (20 on each needle)
Begin k1 p1 pattern
It took me 30 rows to get to where I put the heel
Short row heel - Leave 6 stitches unworked in center of heel
Begin k1, p1 pattern again
I did 35 rounds
Change to p1, k1 rib for 5 rounds and then do a stretchy bind off
(Stretchy Bind Off Notes:
On the row before the bind off row: K1fb (=M1), pull the M1 tight, P1.
Bind off row: K1, slip the M1, pass the K1 over the slipped M1, P1, pass the slipped M1 over
the P1, K1, pass the P1 over, etc. as for a regular bind off.)
Weave in ends and make the second sock!

Ticked off doesn't even begin it!
I bought some LOVELY yarn on eBay, actually, I bought yummy yarn from two different sellers, so no worries there, then I paid via PayPal, no worries there, right?!?! NOT!!! Apparently due to some sort of glitch in the system they sent my former address from 2.5 years ago! And, that address is in a different country!!! This address does not appear anywhere on my eBay or PayPal account, and it hasn't for 2.5 years, but somehow, both of these sellers were sent this address and so that is where they sent my yarn ... WAHHHHHHHHH! So, after talking with 3 different customer service specialists at PayPal I was told that they were aware of the issue ... SAY WHAT?!?! They knew & were doing NOTHING about it until I CALLED?!?!?! Geesh!!! Anyway, the 'issue' is being resolved, but I feel that I shall never see my scrumptious yarn ... this makes me very sad :-(
