I'm starting to get organzied for the Knitting Olympics, I'll be on Team Canada!! Well, the weekend is here .... isn't that exciting - lol.Start a hat last night for my dd's hockey chum, I sure hope she likes it! It's actually in crochet, not knit ::gasp:: can you imagine?!?! I am really trying to grap crochet, but I find that with a lot of it, I really have to think about what I'm doing .... very unlike knitting! Hopefully I'll be finished it before hockey this afternoon, so it leaves me a few hours to get it done ... then I think dd is going to want another one more similar to this new design - lol ... And I still need to finish ds #2's scarf that he is constantly reminding me that I need to finish - lol ... gotta love kids!!Well, I guesss I should go for now ... I'll try to remember to snap a pic of the hat before it's gifted so y'all can see it!!

I think I've picked out my yarn from my stash to make up the felted version, but we'll have to see once the kidlets are in bed ..... I was thinking of deep royal blue & heather green .... is that to funky?!?!
I also have the Felted Bag KAL coming up & the Yarn Harlots Knitting Olympics .... I should be busy, but there are still a couple of hockey road trips comingup, so my hands will need something to keep themselves busy with in the car for those LONG drives into the mountains!!

The only real new thing is that I went to change the appearance of my blog & I lost all my links that I had up ..... arghhhhh .... very frustrating! I must find some time to add those again as I'm sure the few people who actually peek at this would like them not to mention I like to use them too - lol.Hmmm, knitting news ... I am just abot half way done my stash-eliminator cardigan ... and I actually thingk I might wear it - lol. My ds even asked if I'd make him a vest or something like it!!
